Sherri Lewis Wood: President & National Founder. Twenty years’ experience in the trust, employee benefit and legal world provided a background for Sherri to lead the national expansion of One Warm Coat in 2001. Sherri attended Oregon State University and received a C.E.B.S. designation from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. Having lived in 15 of our United States, she has the ability to create a bond with volunteers, agencies and sponsors across the country. [Her Girl Scout sash had many badges!] San Francisco, CA
Jane Chope: Secretary. Jane brings 30+ years of experience in strategic branding, public relations and package design. She was actively involved in the development of the One Warm Coat logo as Senior Account Manager at Thompson Design Group in 2002. San Francisco, CA
Sarah Singleton: Treasurer. A former Partner at Fleishman-Hillard, the world’s largest public relations and communications agency, Sarah is a veteran of more than 15 years of high tech and consumer product marketing and corporate communications. She graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism.
Michelle Ehrlich: With over 17 year’s experience in human resources and a previous career as an attorney, Michelle brings experience in business policy and practice as as it applies to employees, organizational development and business processes. Michelle is currently director of global labor and employee relations at the Associated Press. New York City, NY
Kim F. Fortunato: As the Director of Childhood Obesity & Hunger Program, Kim oversees Campbell’s signature “Nourishing our Neighbors” community initiative on reducing childhood obesity and hunger. Previously Kim served as President of the national nonprofit Operation Warm and is the co-founder of Social Venture Partners Delaware. She is a graduate of Duke University and of Widner School of Law (J.D. 1983).
Candace Gregory: Candace is a renowned advocate of the homeless and has more than 20 years of experience in human services. Candace joined Open Door Mission in 1995, a $16 million non-profit ministry, and currently serves as President/CEO. She is a graduate of Grace University and has received an honorary doctorate from Clarkson College in Humanitarian Services. Omaha, Nebraska
Meyla Ruwin: Meyla has two master’s degrees – MPH in Community Health Education and MA in Organization & Leadership. Meyla is currently CEO of Beksan Imports where she designs, manufactures and imports jewelry, scarves and other treasures from Turkey. She is co-founder of Coaching: The Next Phase, providing Leadership Coaching and Consulting services.Her previous position was Director of the School Health Programs Department at SF Unified School District; in previous positions she has developed curriculum and taught at the elementary, secondary and university levels.
