Jennifer Stockard, President
Service to others has been a way of life for Jennifer throughout her career, and One Warm Coat is a natural “fit” for her. She has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 17 years. As well as providing consulting services to various nonprofits, she has served as the Director of Finance of Crisis Nursery, a children’s social service agency, and as Executive Director of the GOAL Foundation producing a nationally attended marathon. As President, Jennifer applies her considerable corporate and financial savvy to the challenges and opportunities that arise for our small and mighty team. She lives with her husband and their rescue dog in the Phoenix area. She enjoys spending time with her adult daughter and getting away to the ocean as often as possible. Joan Wallner, Project Director – Retail Drives
When Joan first heard about One Warm Coat, she immediately thought of how great it would be to work for such a wonderful cause. A short year later, she joined the team to assist with the Warm Coats + Warm Hearts campaign with ABC’s Good Morning America and Burlington Coat Factory! Joan’s 15+ years experience working with non-profits serves both One Warm Coat and our agency partners especially well during the busy Warm Coats + Warm Hearts season. She continues to be thrilled to hear from our agency partners, who express how this coat drive helps thousands across the country each year. Joan lives in the San Francisco Bay area. Sybil Hunt, Community Outreach Director
Sybil can’t resist telling a good tale — and if it’s a “coat” tale, she’s especially happy to tell it! As Community Outreach Director, she works with the team to shine a verbal spotlight on the continuing need for warm coats and the awesome people who work to find coats and get them to those who need them most. Sybil writes our newsletter, blog and Facebook content and writes other material for a variety of organizations. She gets her greatest enjoyment from connecting with the coat drive organizers, agency representatives and sponsors who share heartwarming tales of ways they’ve made a difference in their hometowns. Larinda Ives, Project Coordinator
Thanks to technology, Larinda helps coat drive organizers from virtually everywhere while she enjoys life in the Colorado Rockies. She is the central connection point for promo packets and Certificates of Appreciation. Whether you’re at the Share Your Plan stage or are ready to Share Your Success, Larinda is happy to help. (If you happen to miss her, she’s probably on a hike, traveling for fun with her husband or playing with her cat.) Larinda has been a proud One Warm Coat team member since 2008.
