We ask for a Contact Name so that we will know who to contact. This name will be shown on the Coat Drive Info on the Coat Drive Locator. If you do not wish to have your Contact Name on our Web site’s Coat Drive Locator, LET US KNOW IN THE COMMENT BOX.
We ask for your telephone number so that we can call you if there are questions about your drive. Also the telephone number is a part of the Coat Drive Info on the Coat Drive Locator. Local people might call you to get more information about your event or call after the event to see if you will still accept coats.
If you do not wish to have your telephone number on our Web site’s Coat Drive Locator, INPUT AN OBVIOUS FAKE NUMBER – 999-9999.
We ask for your mailing address so that we can mail you the banner and the Certificate of Appreciation. This information is NOT displayed on our Web site’s Coat Drive Locator.
From time to time we may send you unsolicited information: perhaps our latest Newsletter or a coupon from one of our sponsors.
We will NOT share this personal information with anyone without your permission, except for those drives organized by Girl Scout troops. If you are a Girl Scout troop, we may let your local Girl Scout council know that you have participated in One Warm Coat.
Use of Photographs
We ALWAYS love to see photographs of One Warm Coat activities – from collecting the coats, to sorting them out, to delivering to the Agency. Before sending us a photograph, we ask that you review the terms of the Photo Releases located on the Tools page and send us a copy.
